The company founders have over 30 years of experience within the building industry working for private clients, building contractors, developers and local councils in both the UK and Ireland.
John McLaughlin
Director
John is responsible for tendering and for the commercial management of the contracts that Glendoagh Contractors Limited carry out.
John is a Quantity Surveyor who started his career with Sir Robert McAlpine Limited in 1990. As well as working for Sir Robert McAlpine Limited as a sponsored student whilst undertaking his degree, John went on to work for the company at the British Library, Millennium Dome, Cadogan Mansions, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and Highbury Square, over a twelve-year period. He subsequently worked for Laing O’Rourke Limited on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Contract at London’s St Pancras Station, and for Westfield Shoppingtowns Limited at Stratford City in East London.
Patrick McLaughlin
Director
Patrick is responsible for the day-to-day running of Glendoagh Contractors Limited, together with client development. Patrick is also responsible for ensuring that the company’s health and safety procedures are applied and adhered to in all areas of the business.
Patrick is a plasterer by trade and previously spent ten years in Ireland, working in and around Dublin for contractors and developers on large scale housing projects.
